KING KUMARPAL AND HEM-CHANDRACHARYA King Kumarpal came everyday to pay homage to Gurudev and see the progress. With the king's keen interest and efficient management the literary project progressed well. Hundreds of books on various subjects were produced.
Gurudev all this literature will
guide and benefit future generations.
One day Acharyashri informed Kumarpal
The king touched his forehead to the book with great devotion
King! This work named Trishashtishalakapurush Charitra is ready. This contains the biographies of 63 eminent personalities beginning with Bhagavan Rishabh Dev and ending with Bhagavan Mahavir."
Gurudev I want to - get a few copies of this work made with golden
and silver ink.
Acharyashri consented.
After getting golden and silver copies of the book Kumarpal took them out in a ceremonial procession
TUFILLOHETTI
Many other copies were made and sent to important libraries in the country. Jain literature was enriched as a result of the scholarly pursuits of Acharyashri and Kumarpal's love for literature.
