Introduction
"parallax” the author of "Patriarchal Longevity” is the founder of the Modern Zetetic philosophy. He has published a book named 'Zetetic Astronomy-Earth not a globe' in 1873 in London. In this book he logically proves that the Earth is not round but a plane. He further proves by a number of experiments that the earth has not got either the orbital or axial motion. In this connection he has also discussed the problems of the solar and lunar eclipses, the cause of tides etc. In the days of Newton one needs courage of Conviction to establish a theory, exactly opposite to the modern Astronomical theory.
