Figure 261-THE SILVER SHRINE in front of the main templeSatrunjaya. The shrine is placed in the courtyard adjoining the enterance gate to the main temple. Pilgrims enshrine a metal image in it at the time of bath and worship it etc. The glass used in the awning of the mandapa erected in this courtyard is out of proportion and does not match with it. It conceals a great deal of the sculptures in the temple.
