________________ “..... God is being-itself is the only direct and nonsymbolic statement that can be made about God. God is the name for the infinite and inexhaustible depth and ground of all being..... Since God is depth, you cannot then call yourself an atheist or unbeliever." "The fundamental symbol for our ultimate concern is God. It is always present in any act of faith, even if the act of faith includes the denial of God. Where there is ultimate concern, God can be denied only in the name of God.... he who denied God as a matter of ultimate concern affirms God, because he affirms ultimacy in his concern.' - Paul Tillick w Jainism, in its final conclusion, is Theism. There are thinkers and philosophers who have expressed this or such theism as “modified theism” (Prof. W. K. Wright) or “Variety of theism”. Jainism, as a matter of fact, has theism which is Latent or Hidden. What is required is to bring it out, as it has been tried here in this book. -Author Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
