________________ A TRIBUTE TO ANANDGHANJI.... AFFILIATE NEWS: JAIN MEDITATION INTERNATIONAL CENTER In the 13th Stavan, the author praises Lord Vimal Nath as Anandghanji has attained self realization and is over joyed by the divine grace he has received from the Lord. Verse 4 of the 13ch stavan is an epic by itself: Sahib Samarath Tu Dhani Re, Pamyo Param Udar; Man Visarami Valho Re, Aatam Cho Addhar. Vimal Jin Ditha Loyan Aaj, Mara Sidhya Vachhit Kaj Anadghanji says to Lord Vimal Nath that my mind has now found a permanent place to rest in your lotus feet as I have found the most graceful and generous Master who has gifted me with self realization. Seeing the divine "Murti” of the Lord, Anandghanji says all my problems and miseries are over and now I am the ever lasting soul with bliss and happiness as he describes in the following Stavan: Ab Ham Amar Bhaye Na Marenge Asha Oran Ki Kya Kije; Gnan Sudharas Pije The master key for attaining self realization is summarized by the author in the 15th Stavan. Let us review the most important verse of this immortal composition of the author: Vegetarian Society had organized this year's convention at Udaipur, the picturesque lake-city. Gurudev, the spiritual guiding spirit of the Society, traveled to Udaipur immediately upon his return from the United States. The convention was held from Sept 28 to Oct 2nd, 2002 at Hotel Paras Mahal. The theme of the convention this year was wealth of Health through Yoga - Mental, Physical and Spiritual. The program was structured and conducted very ably by Dr. D. G. Gunde, who is a Senior Orthopedic Surgeon and the Director of G.J.G. Yoga Academy, having conducted over 500 workshops all over the world and also for leading corporates. Other useful programs were: Diet Therapy by Dr. Pratima Joshi; Man and the Mind by Shri Anil Kumar Malpani; and Conservation and Recycling of Resources by Dr. M.M. Bhamgara. Messages regarding the relevance of vegetarianism and the success of the conference were received from the President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and other leading spiritual leaders. MAHAVIR INTERNATIONAL Pravachan Anjan Jo Sadguru Kare, Dekhe Param Nidhan Jineshvar; Hruday Nayan Nihade Jagadhani, Mahima Meru Saman Jineshvar. Dharama Jineshvar Gau Rangsu Taking advantage of Gurudev's presence in Udaipur, Mahavir International organized a meeting at the Town Hall to discuss the urgent latest developments in the Meat Industry in India. The Tenth Plan proposals of the Ministry of Agriculture were discussed, particularly to set up another 50 slaughter houses. Gurudev spoke on the need to curb violence against innocent animals, which have wider serious repercussions by culminating violence in society. Minister Dr. (Mrs.) Girija Vyas, a noted scholar, also spoke on the occasion . Happily, it was decided to drop the proposal for the additional 50 slaughter houses. Anandghanji declares the universal principle for self realization which can only be attained when one receives the true grace of the teacher (Sadguru). When the third eye called the divine vision or "Agnanetra" opens up, one can see the treasure of the universal truth and infinite knowledge in his own self and the illusion of the materialistic wealth vanishes. At the same time all the bondage of Karma melts away and one attains the state of a Siddha. In conclusion. Yogiraj Anandghanji has made a monumental contribution to the spiritual seekers of all faith by showing us a complete step wise process in each of his compositions on how to immerse in the divine nectar of Adhyatma "Masti" and expe- rience the divine peace by surrendering to the Lord. Let us pray to Lord Mahavir for His divine Grace using the 1" verse of Anandghanji's 24 Stavan: JAIN PRAYER AT QUEEN'S GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS In London, Alliance for Religions & Conservation had organised a multifaith function to Celebrate our Special Creation and the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II. 9 faiths had been requested to present their message to the people of faiths had been requested to present their me this earth. lains through Institute of Jainology had chosen to recite 'Maitri Bhavnu Pavitra Zarnu'.
