Nearly 100 people, some from as far away as Los Angeles and San Diego, partici pated in a very successful three-day Prekshadhyan Shibir (family camp) held in Aug at Point Bonita Recreation Center, Salsaulito. Following the acquisition of the land last year, the construction of the Jain Bhavan will begin as soon as the city approves the project. The estimated project cost is $3 million and the Center is appealing for donations and support from the entire Jain Community of North America.
