The Annual JAIN A Meet of the Board of Directors and the executives will be held on June 2-4,1988 at Buffalo, NY. The host, Jain community of Buffalo is exalted about its role and is looking forward to the event. The 4th conference of religions, where three questions as to position of one's religion on other religions; inter-relating with persons of other faiths and basis of commonality were addressed, was held on April 17,1988 at the Cleveland State University Jain Religion was represented by Dr T.Salgia, president of Jain Federation. He addressed the issues in light of Jaina principles such as Syadvada, Anekantavada, Ahimsa, vegetarianism, social ethics and Peace. The Jain Federation of No America was one of the six sponsors of the conference. SACRED BOOKS OF THE JAINAS BIBLIOTHECA JAINICA This is the title of the series of ancient and historical Jain texts very lucidly translated into English and presented along with original texts in Ardhamagadhi or Prakrit languages.
