CHICAGO JAIN SOCIETY
HOLDS GENERAL BODY MEETING AGAIN
Chicago, IL. The Second General Body Meeting of Chicago Jain Society was called on April 26, to consider two important issues facing the Society since it elected its office. bearers last February.
The two issues are:
to elect larger number of members to the Executive Committee to involve more members to take part in the decision making process since the Societe is close to buying a building to have Jain Temple.
A
accept the resignation of the Executives elected in the last Annual General Body Meeting held last February and elect an Interim Executive Committee consisting of 24 members.
The Interim Executive held its meeting on May 11 to elect officers to carry on the day to day affairs of the Society. The elected officers are:
Manu Shah and
Coordinators of the Interim Executive Arvind Shah, Finance Rashmi Gardi, Temple Praful Kamadar, Program Bhupen Shah, Constitution Chandrakant Mehta, Education & Youth - Jyotindra Doshi and Membership Ravindra Kobavala.
