IN ENGLAND
Manchester. The Jain community of Manchester celebrated Bhaktamara Pooja on Wednesday, June 4. Mr. Shashikant Mehta from Rajkot, India performed the Pooja. During the performance, Mr. Mehta explained the aspects and effects of the different stages of the Pooja.
A large gathering of people attended the Pooja.

JAIN TO ITS CABINET
Bombay. Miss Chandrika Prem Kenya, an upcoming Jain politician of Maharashtra, has been named Minister of State for Law. The announcement brought good news for Gujarati speaking Maharashtrians. Upon joining the cabinet of Ministers, Miss Kenya accompanied by her mother, paid a visit to the Jain Temple in Villa Parle and sought blessings and guidance from Jain Muni.
INAGURATION OF MAHAVIRA MEMORIAL AT VIPULACHALA
Rajgir, Bihar. The 24th Thirthankara, Lord Mahavira over 2554 years ago delivered His "Maiden Sermon" from Vipulachala hills in Rajgir. in memory of this great event in the history of Jain Religion, late Shanti Prasad Jain of Sahu Jain Trust, presented a plan to erect a monument on Vipulachala,
