My dear Trustees, Directors, Members of Jain Center of America, and All Aspirants --
Let the blessings from compassionate and loving hearts bring to all of you peace, prosperity and progress in all aspects of your life.
It was a pleasant experience being part from the moment of inception to un precedented moments of Pratishtha at the Ceremony and the Installation of Images, murtis, in 2005 from June 10 to the 19th at the Temple. I admired your peaceful and loving unity in diversity and the generosity of Dr. Shah and all. This is the spirit of true Dharma.
The other day some of the young Jains came to me showing concern that the sectarian beliefs and rituals will get in the way of maintaining true Dharma and Jain unity. It is now the duty of parents to remove their fears and doubts by practicing Ahinsa and through under-standing show Anekantavad in their actions. Understanding others' needs and points of view is very essential for religious unity, which is called Anekantavada. I am sure that all of you as a team will maintain the priceless treasure of unity and will cherish it.
Jain Dharma is clarity, purity and charity. Jain Dharma is not dogma or mere rituals. It is a deeper experience of Parmatma in Atma: two sides of one coin. It is so that one can have a way of purposeful living. In the end it helps an individual to take an exit that opens an entry into truth, beauty and goodness.
Temple is a place which invites people from all walks of life, regardless of their caste, creed, post or position, to realize the feeling of brotherhood and sisterhood in the presence of the Vitarag Bhagwan.
My blessingful good wishes to all of you, also to those who were performing the ceremonies in sacred harmony, and to all who are participating for liberation from the demands of desires.
Love and blessings,
Chitrabhanu
