The fivefold conduct is also a cause of Sanvar. Its first element is Samayika which means the The five performance of the six necessary elements duties to be hereafter enumerated of consuet e. g. the application of the mind to religious meditation or its concentration by occupuing a sitting or standing posture for a fixed period in the morning, at midday, in the evening and at midnight. The second is Chhedopasthapan which consists of taking some penance or reentering the ascetic life, on account of some fault of the man. Third is Parihar Vishudhi which means the avoidance of any injury while moving about.
