It was kindness of a businessman named Khāraka, who called a physician and got me treated properly. One day, I was going towards the Asthika village. Some village ladies taunted against me over my hairs in the way. Immediately I got my hairs plucked by myself. I felt that the moral character of this country has gone down. It might be possible that the system of marriage might have gone loosened. I had these kinds of experiences during my wanderings through the cities of Campā and Pțstha-Campā etc. also.
