Loving has to do with giving, not getting. So many miracles of healing take place when we turn our attention away from ourselves and seek an objective for living joyously so that others may be prospered and blessed because we pass their way.
In the end, the Christ way is, indeed, a perfect pattern for everyone to follow, and this not only opens the way to personal healing but is the sure way whereby we can be channels of effective and infinite and multiplying good to everyone whose lives touch ours. That, surely, is the basic purpose of life itself because it leads, inevitably and in the long term, to the fulfillment of God's will upon earth, the establishment of His Kingdom of Love, the establishment of the brotherhood of man in the Fatherhood of God on earth, as it is in heaven.
