Besides the commandments of Sutras, the rules framed by the Acharyyas to enforce discipline and right conduct are implicitly obeyed by the Sadhus. 6. Our Community keeps a register of all persons initiated, with the names of their father and mother, their age, and place of residence. It is also noted in the said register as to whether they were married and whether the wife or husband is living, dates of birth, initiation and death are also noted in it. If any one unable to bear the hardships of the strict rules of the sect, joins any other sect of Jains or reverts to a householder's life, the said fact is also noted. During the course of nearly 175 years that our sect has been in existance, no complaint was ever made against any initiation in our community. 7.
