Of the geographical names mentioned in the present record, Chaikāmvaka or Ekāmvakä has already been dealt with in connection with the Kanās plate of Lökavigraha. Andhasubhiksha. whence the charter was issued, cannot be satisfactorily identified. I have also not been able to locate the village of Kumvukirikshiläka and the district of Uttamālāka. The name of the village looks like a compound of the names of two localities.

From the original plate. * Expressed by a symbol. • A letter seems to have been cancelled by the engraver between grå and mah. • Or, ch=4i°. • Better read drishtva, although we have the same expression elsewhere also. • Thore are two short slanting strokes placed between the two doul le dandas here.
