________________ * Though canonical commentaries of reputed commentators were available, Māņikyasekharasūri might have felt it necessary to write Skt. Dīpikās on Ācārānga and Mūlasūtras. * Rājasekhara, the author of Prabandhakosa, produced a huge commentarial literature on logic. * Mahākavi Vāgbhata's works on metrics and poetics are noted honourably in the history of Skt. poetics. * Vikrama presented Samasyāpūrti of Meghadūta in his Nemidūta. Merutungasūri composed Jaina-meghadūta. Yogirāja Panditācārya imitated Jayadeva's Gītagovinda. In this century a wave of imitative literature is seen. * In short, we can say that Śvetāmbara writers are more active in 14th century. 'Prabandha form' seems to be very popular and unique in this century. Thakkura Pheru's JM. works dedicated to technical subjects are admirable which provide contemporary data on the technical sciences. Works on logic lack in originality. The focus of Jaina literary activities is more on poetics, grammar, dramas and didactic narratives. Philosophical and doctrinal works are very few. ***************************************************************************************************************
