Representative of 243 centres from all over India participated in workshop. Yuvacharya Mahashraman delivered his keynote address to delegates discussing eight reason for ego. He confirmed that spirituality ends ego. Muni Dinesh Kumar told that a person who studies Jainism lives his life according to the rules of anekant peacefully. National director Sri Jinendra Kothari informed that in 243 centres 11000 students had examination. On this occasion prizes were given to top students from class 1 to class 8 for year 2007 and 2008. All successful candidates received Vigya Upadhi. Some centres were also given prizes for outstanding performance. Anchalik Sanyojak Sri Mahavir Dhariwal, Sri Narendra Mandot and Sri Sampatram Surana judged three top performing Anchalik Sanyojak. CHATURMAS 2009 FERVOUR MARKS RALLY BY JAINS Women members of the Jain Samaj took out a procession to mark the beginning of Chaturmas in Vijayawada . Women took out a procession in their traditional attire carrying 'Purnakalash' on their heads. The procession meandered through Park Road, Vastralatha Centre, Samarangam Chowk Main Road and Sivalayam Street before culminating at the Jain temple. Jain philosopher, Panyas Praver Sri Uday Prabhu Vijayji spoke on the principles of non-violence taught by Lord Mahaveer.
