If after a, a there is a or å then there occurs ‘ä’ in their place. Na + Anusvārau = Ņānusvārau (Sūtra-4/342)
If after au there exist a etc. Vowel then there occurs ‘åv'in their place. Sau+ Asmadaḥ - Sāvasmadaḥ (Sutra-4/375)
