स्वप्न देखे हैं। हे देवानप्रिये ! अर्थ-लक्ष्मी का लाभ होगा। हे देवानुप्रिये ! भोग का लाभ होगा। हे देवानुप्रिये ! पुत्र का लाभ होगा। हे देवानुप्रिये ! सुख । का लाभ होगा। हे देवानुप्रिये ! राज्य का लाभ होगा। इस प्रकार निश्चय से, हे देवानुप्रिये ! तुम परिपूर्ण नौ महीने और साढ़े सात अहोरात्रि व्यतीत होने पर, हमारे कुल में केतु-ध्वजा के समान, दीपक के समान, पर्वत के समान, अवतंसक-मकूट के समान, तिलक के समान, कीति करने वाले, [कूल का निर्वाह करने वाले] दिनकर - सूर्य के समान, कुल के आधार रूप, [समृद्धि करने वाले, यश बढ़ाने वाले, कुल में पादप-वृक्ष के समान] कुल की विशेष वृद्धि करने वाले, सुकोमल हाथ-पैर वाले, किसी भी प्रकार की हीनता से रहित तथा सम्पुर्ण पंचेन्द्रिय शरीर वाले, लक्षण अर्थात् स्वस्तिक आदि उत्तम रेखाओं, व्यंजन अर्थात् तिल-मष
आदि गुणों से युक्त, मान, उन्मान तथा प्रमाण से परिपूर्ण शरीर वाले, शोभायुक्त, सर्वांगसुन्दर, चन्द्रमा के समान सौम्य प्राकृति के धारक, कान्त-मनोज्ञ एवं प्रियदर्शी पुत्र को जन्म दोगी। ५४. और बह पुत्र जब बालभाव-बचपन से उन्मुक्त होकर, कला, विज्ञान आदि समस्त कलाओं में पारंगत होकर युवावस्था को प्राप्त करेगा उस समय वह शूर, वीर, विक्रान्त-तेजस्वी, विशाल और विपुल बल, वाहन- सेना आदि का धारक तथा राज्याधिपति राजा

He will be like a lamp unto our family, holding its banner high. He will be an ornament to our clan, its bejewelled crown. He will be like the sun to our clan: through him we will thrive. He will be to us like a mountain and like a shade-giving tree: he will be our support. He will be a source of joy to our clan. He will be born with perfect limbs which will manifest every mark of auspiciousness.
