कान्त, प्रिय, मनोज्ञ, हृदयस्पर्शी, उदार, कल्याणरूप, शिवशान्तिरूप, धन्यरूप, मंगलकारी, शोभाकारी, मृदु, मधुर, मंजुल ग्राही धौर दवावकारक वाणी का उच्चारण करती करती सिद्धार्थं क्षत्रिय को जगाती है । ५०. इसके पश्चात् त्रिशला क्षत्रियाणी सिद्धार्थ राजा की अनुज्ञा प्राप्त कर अनेक प्रकार के मरिण, स्वर्ण और रत्नों से निर्मित तथा चित्रित भद्रासन पर बैठती है। भद्रासन पर बैठकर आश्वस्त और विश्वस्त होकर, श्रेष्ठ सुखासन पर बैठे सिद्धार्थ क्षत्रिय को पूर्वोक्त प्रकार की इष्ट यावत् हृदयालंकारक वाणी का संलाप करती हुई इस प्रकार बोली :
५१. "इस प्रकार निश्चय ही हे स्वामिन्! मैं ग्राज उस पूर्ववरिणत रमणीय शय्या पर शयन कर रही थी, यावत् चौदह स्वप्नों को देखकर जागृत हुई। वे चौदह स्वप्न इस प्रकार हैं- गज, वृषभ आादि । हे स्वामिन्! मेरी मान्यता है कि इन उदार चौदह महास्वप्नों का विशेष प्रकार का कल्याणकारी फल प्राप्त होगा ।"
soft and measured voice with an amiable, pleasing and warm tone. She spoke with noble accents— open, heart-warming, gracious and generous. Her speech was charming, virtuous and auspicious: it had the power to delight and enrapture the heart.
50. And, then, with king Siddhartha's leave, Trisala took her seat. She sat on a chair garnished with rows of paintings and studded with gems and precious stones. She spoke again to Siddhartha in her sweet and amiable voice, and said:
51. "Today, my lord, as I lay sleeping on my comfortable couch, I saw fourteen wondrous and beautiful dreams." She then recounted the objects she had seen in her dream-vision and said: "I feel, my lord, that these fourteen wondrous and beautiful dreams will surely bear exceedingly blessed fruits."
