Bhāṣādravyavargaṇānām uparimā grahṇadravyavargaṇā nāma || 745 ||
The grahṇadravyavargaṇā is above the bhāṣādravyavargaṇās.
Agrahṇadravyavargaṇā nāma kiṃ? || 746 ||
Agrahṇadravyavargaṇā bhāṣādravyam adhicchidya manodravyaṃ na prāpnoti, tāṣāṃ dravyāṇām antare agrahṇadravyavargaṇā nāma || 747 ||
What is called agrahṇadravyavargaṇā? The agrahṇadravyavargaṇā is the vargaṇā that exists between the bhāṣādravya and the manodravya, until the manodravya is not attained.
Agrahṇadravyavargaṇānām upari manodravyavargaṇā nāma || 748 ||
Above the agrahṇadravyavargaṇās, there is the manodravyavargaṇā.
Manodravyavargaṇā nāma kiṃ? || 749 ||
Manodravyavargaṇā catuḥprakārasya manasaḥ grahṇaṃ pravartate || 750 ||
What is called manodravyavargaṇā? The manodravyavargaṇā arises from the grahṇa (apprehension) of the four types of manas (mind).
Satyamanasaḥ mṛṣāmanasaḥ satyamṛṣāmanasaḥ asatyamṛṣāmanasaḥ yāni dravyāṇi gṛhītvā satyamanattvāya mṛṣāmanattvāya satyamṛṣāmanattvāya asatyamṛṣāmanattvāya pariṇāmayanti jīvāḥ, tāni dravyāṇi manodravyavargaṇā nāma || 751 ||
The dravyas that the jīvas grasp and transform into satyamana, mṛṣāmana, satyamṛṣāmana, and asatyamṛṣāmana are called manodravyavargaṇā.
Manodravyavargaṇānām upari agrahṇadravyavargaṇā nāma || 752 ||
Above the manodravyavargaṇās, there is the agrahṇadravyavargaṇā.

Agrahṇadravyavargaṇā [mana] dravyam adhicchidya karmadravyaṃ na prāpnoti, tāsāṃ dravyāṇām antare agrahṇadravyavargaṇā nāma || 754 ||
