In the Bandhanānuyogadvāra, regarding the description of the body, there is a discussion on the variation in the number of pradeśas (spatial units).
370. In the intermediate stages of the first and last gunasthānas (stages of spiritual development), the number of pradeśas increases by an innumerable (asaṃkhyāta) times.
371. In the intermediate stages before the first gunasthāna, the number of pradeśas is particularly higher.
372. In the first intermediate stage of the gunasthānas, the number of pradeśas is particularly higher.
373. In the first and last sthitis (stages of existence), the number of pradeśas is particularly higher.
374. In the first sthiti, the number of pradeśas is particularly higher.
375. In the intermediate stages of the last gunasthānas, the number of pradeśas is particularly higher.
376. In the last sthiti, the number of pradeśas is particularly higher.
377. In all the sthitis and all the intermediate stages of the gunasthānas, the number of pradeśas is particularly higher.
378. Similarly, the description of the variation in the number of pradeśas should be understood for the three other types of bodies: vaikriyika, taijasa, and kārmaṇa.
379. Compared to the highest and lowest number of pradeśas, the number of pradeśas in the last second sthiti of the āhāraka (food-transformed) body is the least.
380. Compared to that, the number of pradeśas in the first sthiti is innumerable (asaṃkhyāta) times higher.
381. In the last intermediate stages of the gunasthānas, the number of pradeśas is innumerable (asaṃkhyāta) times higher.
382. Compared to that, the number of pradeśas in the first and last intermediate stages of the gunasthānas is innumerable (asaṃkhyāta) times higher.
