पंचिंदियाणं सण्णीणं सम्मादिट्ठीणं वा मिच्छादिट्ठीणं वा पज्जत्तयाणमाउअस्तपुव्त्रकोडितिभागमाबाधं मोत्तूण जं पढमसमए पदेसग्गं णिमित्तं तं बहुगं, जं विदियसमए पदेसगं णिसितं तं विसेसहीणं, जं तदियसमए पदेसग्गं णिसित्तं तं विसेसहीणं; एवं विसेसहीणं विसेसहीणं जाव उक्कस्सेण तेतीस सागरोवमाणि ति ।। १०४ ॥

पंचेन्द्रिय, संज्ञी एवं सम्यग्दृष्टि अथवा मिध्यादृष्टि पर्याप्तक जीवोंके आयु कर्मकी एक पूर्वकोटिके तृतीय भाग प्रमाण आबाधाको छोड़कर प्रथम समयमें जो प्रदेशपिण्ड निषिक्त है वह बहुत है, द्वितीय समय में जो प्रदेशपिण्ड निषिक्त है वह उससे विशेष हीन है, तृतीय समय में जो प्रदेशपिण्ड निषिक्त है वह विशेष हीन है; इस प्रकार उत्कर्षसे तेतीस सागरोपम तक वह विशेष हीन विशेष हीन होता गया है ॥ १०४ ॥
चूंकि पूर्वकोटित्रिभागके प्रथम समय में वर्तमान संयत सम्यग्दृष्टि जीवोंके देवायुका तेतीस सागरोपम प्रमाण उत्कृष्ट स्थितिबन्ध तथा उक्त त्रिभागके प्रथम समय में वर्तमान किन्हीं मिथ्यादृष्टि जीवोंके नारकायुका उतना मात्र उत्कृष्ट स्थितिबन्ध सम्भव है, अत एवं इस अपेक्षासे सूत्रमें ' सम्यग्दृष्टि' और 'मिथ्यादृष्टि' पदोंको ग्रहण किया गया है ।
