क्षेत्रकी अपेक्षा पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यंच, पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यंच पर्याप्त, पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यंच योनिमती और पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यंच अपर्याप्त जीवोंके द्वारा क्रमशः देवअवहारकालकी अपेक्षा असंख्यातगुणे हीन कालसे, संख्यातगुणे हीन कालसे, संख्यातगुणे कालसे और असंख्यातगुणे हीन कालसे जगप्रतर अपहृत होता है ॥ २१॥
मणुसगदीए मणुस्सा मणुसअपज्जत्ता दव्यपमाणेण केवडिया ? ॥ २२ ॥ मनुष्यगतिमें मनुष्य और मनुष्य अपर्याप्त द्रव्यप्रमाणसे कितने हैं ? ॥ २२ ॥
असंखेज्जा ॥ २३ ।। असंखेज्जासंखेज्जाहि ओसप्पिणि-उस्साप्पिणीहि अवहिरंति कालेण ॥ २४ ॥
मनुष्य और मनुष्य अपर्याप्त द्रव्यप्रमाणसे असंख्यात हैं ॥ २३ ॥ वे कालकी अपेक्षा असंख्यातासंख्यात अवसर्पिणी और उत्सर्पिणियोंसे अपहृत होते हैं ॥ २४ ॥
खेत्तेण सेडीए असंखेज्जदिभागो ॥ २५ ॥ तिस्से सेडीए आयामो असंखेज्जाओ जोयणकोडीओ ॥ २६ ॥
क्षेत्रकी अपेक्षा मनुष्य और मनुष्य अपर्याप्त जगश्रेणीके असंख्यातवें भाग प्रमाण हैं ॥२५॥ उस जगश्रेणीके असंख्यातवें भागकी श्रेणी (पंक्ति) का आयाम असंख्यात योजनकोटि है ॥
मणुस-मणुसअपज्जत्तएहि रूवं रूवा पक्खित्तएहि सेडी अवहिरदि अंगुलवग्गमूलं तदियवग्गमूलगुणिदेण ।। २७॥
सूच्यंगुलके प्रथम वर्गमूलको उसके ही तृतीय वर्गमूलसे गुणित करनेपर जो लब्ध हो उसे शलाकारूपसे स्थापित कर एक अंकसे अधिक मनुष्यों और एक अंकसे अधिक मनुष्य अपर्याप्तोंके द्वारा जगश्रेणी अपहृत होती है ॥ २७॥
मणुस्सपज्जत्ता मणुसिणीओ दवपमाणेण केवडिया १ ॥ २८ ॥ मनुष्य पर्याप्त और मनुष्यनियां द्रव्यप्रमाणसे कितनी हैं ? ।। २८ ।।
कोडाकोडाकोडीए उवरिं कोडाकोडाकोडाकोडीए हेट्ठदो छण्हं वग्गाणमुवरि सत्तण्हं वग्गाणं हेट्ठदो ॥ २९ ॥
कोडाकोडाकोडिके ऊपर और कोडाकोडाकोडाकोडिके नीचे छह वर्गोके ऊपर और सात वर्गोंके नीचे अर्थात् छठे और सातवें वर्गके बीचकी संख्या प्रमाण मनुष्य पर्याप्त व मनुष्यनियां हैं ।।
