प्रस्तावना
[ ३१ घनमूल- जिस राशिके गुणाकारसे घनराशि उत्पन्न हुई है, उसकी मूलराशि । जैसे
६४ का घनमूल ४ है। सातिरेक- विवक्षित राशिसे कुछ अधिक, इसेही साधिक कहते हैं। विशेषाधिक- विवक्षित राशिके दूने परिमाणसे नीचेतक की सर्व राशियां । संख्यातगुणित - दूनी राशि और उससे ऊपर तिगुनी, चौगुनी आदि वे सब राशियां जो
संख्यातके अन्तर्गत होती है। असंख्यातगुणित- यथासंभव मध्यम असंख्यातसे गुणित राशि लेना । अनन्तगुणित--- यथासंभव मध्यम अनन्तसे गुणित राशि । द्वितीय वर्गमूल- विवक्षित राशिका दूसरा वर्गमूल । जैसे- १६ का प्रथम वर्गमूल ४ है
और दूसरा वर्गमूल २ है। इसी प्रकार तृतीय, चतुर्थ आदि वर्गमूलोंको समझन ।
चाहिए। भागहार- जिस राशिसे विवक्षित राशिमें भाग दिया जावे । अवहारकाल- भागहाररूप कालात्मकराशि ।
द्रव्यप्रमाणानुगममें मार्गणाओंके भीतर जीवोंकी जो संख्या बतलाई गई है, उसके अनुसार अनन्त, असंख्यात और संख्यात राशिवाले जीवोंका अल्पबहुत्व इस प्रकार जानना चाहिए
