५. कालाणुगमो
कालाणुगमेण दुविहो णिद्देसो ओघेण आदेसेण य ॥१॥ कालानुगमसे निर्देश दो प्रकारका है— ओघनिर्देश और आदेशनिर्देश ॥ १॥ .
काल चार प्रकारका है-- नामकाल, स्थापनाकाल, द्रव्यकाल और भावकाल । उनमें 'काल' यह शब्द नामकाल कहा जाता है। वह यह है ' इस प्रकारसे बुद्धिके द्वारा अन्य वस्तुमें अन्यका आरोपण करना स्थापना है । वह स्थापना सद्भाव और असद्भावके भेदसे दो प्रकारकी है। उनमें कालका अनुकरण करनेवाली किसी एक वस्तुमें अनुकरण करनेवाले विवक्षित कालका बुद्धिके द्वारा आरोप करना, यह सद्भावस्थापनाकाल है। जैसे- अंकुरों, पल्लवों एवं पुष्पों आदिसे परिपूर्ण और कोयलोंके मधुर आलापसे संयुक्त चित्रगत वसन्तकाल । उससे भिन्न (विपरीत) असद्भावस्थापनाकाल जानना चाहिये। जैसे --- मणिविशेष, गेरुक, मिट्टी और ठीकरा आदिमें — यह वसंत है' इस प्रकार बुद्धिके बलसे किया जानेवाला वसन्तका आरोप ।
____ आगम और नोआगमके भेदसे द्रव्यकाल दो प्रकारका है। कालविषयक प्राभृतका ज्ञायक, किन्तु वर्तमानमें उसके उपयोगसे रहित जीव आगमद्रव्यकाल है । नोआगमद्रव्यकाल ज्ञायकशरीर, भावी और तद्व्यतिरिक्तके भेदसे तीन प्रकारका है। उनमें ज्ञायकशरीर-नोआगमद्रव्यकाल भावी, वर्तमान और समुज्झित भेदसे तीन प्रकारका है। जो जीव भविष्यमें कालप्राभृतका ज्ञायक होगा उसे भावी नोआगमद्रव्यकाल कहते हैं। जो अमूर्तिक होकर कुम्भकारके चक्रकी अधस्तन कीलके समान वर्तना स्वभाववाला है ऐसे लोकाकाश प्रमाण पदार्थको तद्व्यतिरिक्त नोआगमद्रव्यकाल कहते हैं।
भावकाल आगमभावकाल और नोआगमभावकालके भेदसे दो प्रकारका है। इनमें जो जीव कालप्राभृतका ज्ञाता होकर वर्तमानमें तद्विषयक उपयोगसे सहित है उसको आगमभावकाल तथा द्रव्यकालसे उत्पन्न परिणामको नोआगमभावकाल कहा जाता है। इन कालभेदोंमेंसे यहां नोआगमभावकालको अधिकार प्राप्त समझना चाहिये जो कि समय, आवली क्षण, लव, मुहूर्त, दिवस, पक्ष, एवं मास आदिरूप है ।
ओघेण मिच्छादिट्ठी केवचिरं कालादो होंति ? णाणाजीवं पडुच्च सव्बद्धा ॥२॥
ओघसे मिथ्यादृष्टि जीव कितने काल तक होते हैं ? नाना जीवोंकी अपेक्षा सर्व काल होते हैं ॥२॥
