छक्खंडागम अनेकों गाथाएँ संकलित पाई जाती हैं, अतः बहुत सम्भव तो यही है कि ये गाथाएँ भी वहां संगृहीत ही हों। और यदि वे नेमिचन्द्राचार्य-रचित हैं, तो कहना होगा कि उन्होंने सचमुच पूर्व गाथा सूत्रकारोंका अनुकरण किया है।
विदुषीरत्न पंडिता सुमतिबाईजीने यह आर्ष ग्रंथराजका संपादन बहुत परिश्रमपूर्वक किया है और बहुतही सुंदर हुआ है। पूरा षट्खण्डागम एक जिल्दमें ( एक पुस्तकमें ) होनेसे स्वाध्याय करनेवालोंको और अभ्यास करनेवालोंको सुगम होगया है । जिनवाणीका यह आद्य ग्रन्थ होनेसे अत्यंत महत्त्वशाली है। मुझे जो प्रस्तावना लिखनेका सुअवसर दिया इसलिये मैं बाईजीका आभारी हूँ।
