Inscription no 109 (apocryphal ) mentions a king of the name of Durgacakti belonging to the family of the Sendras, who makes a gift of land to the Jains at the time of the old of the west Satyacraya (Pulikeein II ? ) Pratihāras of Kanauj. Perhaps the founder of this dynasty was Amaraja, who was converted by Bappabhattisuri and who is mentioned by an inscription at Catrunjaya as the ancestor of the Oswal tribe (vo 665 ). PALLAVAS.
