THE INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS. With respect to the article " My India" appearing from the pen of Mr. Siray Mul T. A.; B. Sc. of Udaipur we beg to state that the article was allowed to appear in "The Herald " simply because it caine from a graduate of quite different views, about the regeneration of India. Not a single English article has appeared in these columns from any Jain Brother from Rajputana & so we deemed it advisable to publish the article for what it may be worth, and for shewing that some Jaina Educated men also have such notions. wout the means for the regeneration of India we humbly differ from the views expressed by the said gentleman. We hold that all the institutions-political, social, religious and industrial--should work at the same time for the salvation of India. This view was rightly held by the late Hon. Mr. Justice Ranade also. Those who strive for political concessions are striving in no wrong direction; they also do it with a true aim and a noble heart. Be it far from the remotest idea of this monthly paper to attack or lessen the value of the work done by the Indian National Congress.
