Morvi, 22-5-11. Dear Brother Mohanbhai,
I hope you have received my p.c. a few days back I shall be very glad and thankful to you to know the name of the fact T. Have Mr. Go- vindjibhai and yourself gone through my corrections in your version of Naya Karnika, and the separate piice? I should like to know the particulars. I have fully grasped Nyaya Avtara, through the extracts of the Vivriti as well as through some other means. The whole Vivriti (sent by you) with some additions, from other authors, relating to the same needs to be translated, I shall do it and send the same to you. But it will take some time. In one of my letters, I wrote to you that going through your Eng. "lish Naya Karnika has done me good, by making me refer to other authors on Naya. It was to a great advantage to me, and as a fruit of the same I have been able to fully grasp and translate the Naya Pradeepa of Shree Yashovijayji. I wish to pass the same from you, Mr. Mehpani and one or twoSadhus whom you may recommend. Hoping to hear soon.

P.S. Who is the author of the Vivriti on Nyaya Avtara sent by you? I think, he is shree Sidhharshi.

Your kind p.c. of the 23rd inst to hand. You seem to have perhaps misunderstood me. I did not intend and cannot intend that you should con bine me in the English version of N. K. with you. The separate piece was sent to you to see if it is correct and can be of use to you. If it can. not be of use to you, it may be returned to me with your corrections, remarks, suggestions &c.
Naya Pradeepa is nearing completion. Even the printed copy of N. P. (published by J. P. D. Sabha ) is not free from errors. I draw your attention to page 98 (front side) 1. 4 aayahratt or faufa ? p. 99 (front side) 1.2 tar T F Frutat:-the whole seems to be incorrect, nay wrong. p. 99 (back side) 1.8 TEUTET ? T CU: ? If you have got the copy, please refer to it. There are other errors also.
The Vivritti of N.A. is by Sidhar. shi, as it appears from the Prashasti.
Brother, first we go deep in Jain philosophy and then we find how difficult it is and how unqualified we find ourselves for it. Hoping to hear regularly.
