________________ Shri Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra www.kobatirth.org Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir celebration of Virasat festival in Rajasthan and celebration of Navratri festival in Gujarat have taken place through encouragement of the Government. Such type of programmes flourish through partnership of the Government and people. If the main objective of its organization is development of Folk Culture, this inheritance can surely become prosperous. (11) Letters : The people belonging to different provinces become familiar of Folk Culture of the respective provinces through pen-friendship and nearness is cultivated. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru gave introduction of the Indian History and Culture to Smt. Indira Gandhi through letters. If such type of hobby of pen-friendship is cultivated in schools and colleges, the boundaries of Folk-culture can surely become prosperous. (12) Museums : The museums for introduction of Folk Culture of different provinces can be established, viz. a Museum providing glimpse of Folk Culture of different provinces named 'Gram Shilpa' is in Bhopal. Similar museums must be in other cities also. Unknown people can also get introduction of Folk Culture of different provinces through it. (13) Rural Decoration : India is inhabited in villages. Rural inheritance is still intact. It is necessary for the development of Folk Culture that Urban people and foreigners are attracted for rural observation. For this purpose, pouring of nature in villages on river banks requires to be done. Nimb, Pipalo, Banyan, Coconut trees and other dense trees be raised and maintained. Public places be decorated, bygone attraction for pious works of village families, bravery, animal love, churches, family God, memorial stone of martyr be created and the events of affectionate feeling can be exhibited, viz. Hindus reside in village Pipli (Ta. Kodinar, Dist. Junagadh) of Saurashtra. There is a tomb of only Muslim Pir in the village. At the time of marriage Hindu Bridegroom, wears chain of this Pir. After Marriage Saptapadi, the couple feel fortunate by removing the chain before the tomb of Pir. In addition, the rural prosperity can be exhibited through Kamdhenu Mahima, Krishi Mahima, Gram Udyog Mahima, Shram Mahima and fine exhibits of handicraft. The institutes like Indian Institute of Design be made to take interest in the activities of research and spread of beautiful exhibits of Folk Culture. Through establishment of Folk Foundation, programmes for water service dignity, Folklore club, Folk Cultural Fund, Folk Cultural Trust, Village Cultural Society, Temple Cultural Society, Folk Cultural Club in schools or colleges, Folk Cultural Academy, the inheritance of Folk Culture can be made prosperous.
