this pious work has been done. Folk Literate or Folk Architect compiles and edits the same, while the Government publishes the edited collection. In Bhavnagar, Shri Khodidas Parmar has prepared a very precious treasure of forgotten villages pictures of Saurashtra. It is necessary that the same is published at the earliest.
If pictorial publication and distribution of peculiarities of Folk Culture of different provinces is done, the graph of Folk Culture can surely be taken high. Similarly in the field of Folk Music, it is necessary that musical notations takes place of Folk Songs, Bhajan etc. The musical notations requires to be done in its original form by an artist with rich voice, viz. the Gujarati Folk Songs sung by Diwaliben Bhil have become more popular. Thus rich voice and tuning of Folk Songs makes Folk Culture honourable. Many times, mixture music is produced in Folk Music. Therein, the piousness of innocent Folk Music in its original form is not maintained. Such music requires to be improved. In Gujarat playing of cymbals is inheritance of Folk Culture, but it is not like trained inheritance of 'Terataali' of Rajasthan. Therefore, planning be made to provide training from these artists to the artists of Gujarat. It is necessary to carry out more and more efforts to spread-advertise the Folk Culture through musical notations and publication and distribution of cassettes, C.Ds. cards etc.
(8) Competitions :
The partnership of people can be increased by organizing competitions of different elements of Folk Culture, viz. competitions of Folk stories, saying stories, vowing stories, moralising stories can be organized. In Folk Music, the competitions of playing big flute, flute. Ravan-hattha and song competitions of Bhajan, Folk Songs, Duha-chhand, Chopãi, marriage songs can be arranged. The artists be encouraged by distributing prizes in these competitions. Arrangements to give awards to good artists requires to be made. If training is provided to artists at village level through experts, good artists can be obtained.
(9) Fashion Show :
In modern time, the system of fashion is a useful system for spread of Folk Culture. Fashion parade of clothes of different provinces, fashion parade of Folkornaments requires to be arranged. Arrangements for telecasting these programmes through T.V. can be made. the inheritance of Folk Culture can be made prosperous if arrangement for a market exhibiting clothes and ornaments in fashion show is made, then the attraction of the people will increase and employment can be provided to the artists of this field.
(10) Virasat and celebration of Navratri Festivals :
There is disparity of festivals in India and people participate enthusiastically in it as the same being symbol of Folk faith and honour. The programmes of
