To maintain and make prosperous the Folk Culture and its inheritance, the following formalities and procedures can be thought of. (1) To construct the cultural Policy :
The future of Folk culture can be determined on the basis of changing form of people and cultural policies. First, it is important that a meaningful conversation must take place for the issues of Folk culture. And it is necessary that a feeling of honour and dearness is developed towards Folk Culture. Folk culture must get an equal opportunity fort expressing cultural disparity. Activities for creation of link between different Folk Cultures must be carried out. Systematic propaganda and spreading of Folk Culture should be done through public communication, and thereby to solve the basic problems of Folk groups through seminars and sessions for Folk Culture and programmes for creating awareness against useless imitation and perverseness and to solve the fundamental problems of Folk Culture through specialities and vigor. Lastly, the creation and use of Folk Culture be made prestigious in the form of Fundamental human rights. And for this, keeping in view collective interest, instead of individual interest, inheritance of meaningful Folk Culture be made prosperous. (2) Education :
The importance of study of Folk Culture requires to be accepted in our present set up of education. Facilitated education be provided to understand inheritance of Folk Culture and its minutest forms. The mental and its stable state can be bestowed only through detailed study of Folk Culture. Through study and comparison of Folk Culture of different provinces, benevolent cultural inheritance of national life can be fully observed. The assessment of inheritance of Folk Culture being traditional or transformable can be carried out only through education.
The inheritance of Folk Culture requires to be accepted as a compulsory subject in schools and colleges, and for this purpose text books be prepared and colleges or schools be established for study of inheritance of Folk Culture, viz. Folk Literature Vidyalaya, Folk Art Vidyalaya, Folk Literature Bhavan, Folk Art Bhavan, Folk Music Convention, Folk Dance Programmes, and facilities for series of lectures in foreign countries be raised, and financial assistance and infrastructural association be provided and when public co-operation is achieved, it will be a fragrance in gold. Just like a wonderland, without the courses of inheritance of Folk Culture, the education of the country is incomplete, because Folk Culture is like a foundation stone of principles, civilization of the people of the country.
Tours of places, centres, Artists etc. of Folk Culture and visits thereof is a very important system in making the inheritance of Folk Culture prosperous.
