(or the power) in man the sadhaka has to open the nervous centers and the passages through which sakti unites with Siva as the Supreme consiciousness descends in the body. All these can be possible when the Sadhaka completely surrender himself to the bliss and love of the divine Mother or the Mother goddess. Tantra, therefore, is not in favour of oppressing the body with ascetism and so on. Tantra admits that the sensation and emotion are very powerful source of energy in man which should never be oppressed and misused, rather it should be channelised properly to enable the body to get merged with the cosmos.
Conclusion :
It has been seen that Tantra is nothing but a separate and a special religious method with the practice of which one can attain his goal in this life only. Tantra does not solely believe in ascetism or oppressing the body as it realizes that the body is the best means or the media for getting one's aim of life. The misconceptions regarding Tantra have been created by two types of people-one, the initiated into Tantra, who wants to keep this science within himself or within his group and the second, who does undesirable deeds with the help of the power acquired by the practice of Tantra. The ignorance about the subject resulting into the awe among the masses have aggravated the wrong impression about Tantra and this exists even today. A time has come when the initiated persons should come forward and write more books in modern languages on the subject in a very easier way and also help the masses towards this system of emancipation. Perhaps, this process will remove all misconceptions and Tantra can be understood in its proper perspective which is need of the hour.
