Agamaprabhakara Muni Shri Punyavijayji's death is a great loss to the Prakrit Text Society. He was not only one of the founders of the Society but was the soul of the Society. Most of the books published by the Society are edited by him. Not only the Society but the scholars of Indian culture have lost by his death, a sympathetic and profound guide in various fields of Ancient and Medieval Indian Studies He was always ready to help any of the scholars from India and abroad, especially by providing them the mss which were not available to them otherwise. તા. ૨૭-૬-૭૧, રવિવારના રોજ સવારના શ્રી અધેરી જૈન સઘની સભા, જૈન ઉપાશ્રયમાં, પન્યાસ શ્રી લવંતવિજયજીના સાંનિધ્યમાં મળી હતી. સભામાં મુનિવરા તથા અન્ય વક્તાઓએ મહારાજશ્રીને પેાતાની શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપી હતી.
જૈન સધ, ગોરેગાંવ (મુંબઈ)
તા. ૨૪-૬-૭૧, ગુરુવારના રાજ રાતના શ્રી ગારેગાંવ શ્રીસની સભા શ્રી શનાભાઈ તલકચંદના પ્રમુખપદે મળી હતી. શરૂઆતમાં સંધના ટ્રસ્ટી અને મહારાજશ્રીના વયાવૃદ્ધ શિષ્ય મુનિ શ્રી જયભદ્રવિજયજીના પુત્ર શ્રી રમણભાઈ શાહ, શ્રી જૂઠાભાઈ, જનશક્તિવાળી શ્રી ચીમનભાઈએ મહારાજશ્રીને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ અર્પણુ કરી હતી. શ્રી રમણભાઈએ મહારાજશ્રીની નમ્રતા અને સાધુતાના ઉલ્લેખ કરી જણાવેલું કે મારા પિતાશ્રીએ ગુરુદેવ પાસે મેાટી ઉમરે દીક્ષા લીધી હતી અને તેએ એમના શિષ્ય હતા, છતાં મહારાજશ્રીને એમની સાથેના વ્યવહાર એક ભાઈના જેવા હતા. પ્રમુખશ્રીના વક્તવ્ય બાદ સભા પૂરી થઈ હતી.
