must naturally go. There can be no mid-way between no ban and total ban.
Cattle - slaughter goes on unabled, even when the number of bullocks is just half of our requirements.
Independence has no meaning if we fail to save cow. It will have to be admitted then that we have lost our freedom and its aroma is gone - if COW - protection does not take place.
For this purpose, Gośāta movement, in India is the question of life and death as said by Vinobaji.
WHY GOSHALA MOVEMENT? 1. Gosātā movement is a patriotic movement to free the nation from the clutches
or Foreign economic dependence and to provide cheap and nutritious food,
fuel, energy, manure and safeguard our environment. 2. It's aim is to preserve, protect and develope cow and bullocks for the prosperity
of the country. 3. Gosāta movement is the commond of India's Nonviolent culture & glory. 4. Gosāta movement is to implement directive principals of non-violence of our constitutions. Govt. of India is bound to preserve it.
TWO DEMANDS 1. In India's a pre-dominantly agricultural country slaughter of cow and bullocks
of any age-group must be prohibited by a legislation as a step preliminary
to all animal slaughter. 2. All meat export from this country be stopped. 3. Govt. Should sponsor a National welfare fund for care of cows and Animals
created with contribution form Govt. and milk producers (Agriculture products) moreever.
IT IS INDIA'S OWN SOCIALISM On account of experiments carried through for millennia in India's civilisation, cows and bullocks have been assigned a place in human family. It is a marvellous example of relationship between man and animal. In India's socialism Cow - species gained a part in the family and they are to be given. (Out of gratitude) for their life-long services, protection and loving care till their natural death
- VINOBA BHAVE "My ambition is no less than to see the principle of the Cow -protection established throughout the world. But that requires that I should set my own house thoroughly in order first".
