Scholars enjoyed the question answer session of the Seminar in which Dr. A. P. Singh, Shri O. P. Singh and many others actively participated. The speakers highlighted the contribution of Jainism to Indian Society under different topics. Prof. K.D. Tripathi, who presided over the function, presented a detailed account of social contribution of Jainism to the Indian Culture as a whole. Prof. Kamalsheel, Chief Guest, threw ample light on the works done by Jaina Acharyas in Building social harmony and equality. Dr. Shriprakash Pandey presented the vote of thanks. At this occasion the prominent scholars who participated in the seminar were Prof. V. K. Singh, Dept. of English, Prof. S. L. Jain, Former Dean, Faculty of Arts, BHU, Prof. Harihar Singh, Dept. of AIHC, BHU, Dr. Archana Sharma, Dr. Sujata Gautam, Lecturer, Dept of AIHC, BHU, Dr. Atul Tripathi, Reader, Dept. of AIHC, BHU and Dr. M. P. Singh.
It is worth to mention here that ISJS is also planning to hold an International Seminar in Canada in August 2010. DSIR Team visited Parshwanath Vidyapeeth
(20-21 March, 2010) A Team of Department of Scientific & Industrial Research Organizations (DSIR), Ministry of Human Resources, Govt. of India, New Delhi visited Parshwanath Vidyapeeth on 2014 March 2010 headed by Shri A. V. Chanulu, Officer on Special Duty, DSIR, New Delhi. It is worth to mention here that Parshwanath Vidyapeeth is recognized by Scientific & Industrial Research Organization, New Delhi for Research.
