work with Pāņini's grammar and showed how Buddhisāgara has presented many rules of Pāṇini with greater brevity. Dr. Lalit Kr. Tripathi, Dr. Chandra Bhushan Jha and Dr. Ashok Kr. Singh also presented their papers in the seminar. Dr. Jha felt the need for composing a new grammar which would incorporate the best features of different grammatical traditions.
Dr. Mithilesh Chaturvedi in his concluding remarks summed up the conclusions of the seminar. Shri Deven Yashwant proposed a vote of thanks at the end of the second session. The two sessions were compared by Comm. S.K. Jain and Dr. Balaji Ganorkar.
पत्राचार प्राकृत सर्टिफिकेट कार्यक्रम दिगम्बर जैन अतिशय क्षेत्र श्री महावीरजी द्वारा संचालित अपभ्रंश साहित्य अकादमी द्वारा ‘पत्राचार प्राकृत सर्टिफिकेट पाठ्यक्रम चलाया जा रहा है। आठवाँ सत्र १ जुलाई २००६ से प्रारम्भ होगा। इसमें प्राकृत, संस्कृत, हिन्दी एवं अन्य भाषाओं/विषयों के प्राध्यापक, अपभ्रंश एवं प्राकृत विद्या के शोधार्थी तथा संस्थानों में कार्यरत विद्वान सम्मिलित हो सकेंगे। नियमावली एवं आवेदन पत्र दिनांक २५ मार्च से १५ अप्रैल २००६ तक अकादमी कार्यालय, दिगम्बर जैन नसियाँ भट्टारकजी, सवाई रामसिंह रोड़, जयपुर-३०२००४ से प्राप्त करें। कार्यालय में आवेदन पत्र पहुँचने की अन्तिम तारीख १५ मई २००६ है।
