________________ १४६ witnessed a long-time crusade between Jews, Christians and Mohammedans. When crusade occurs many people of both sides are killed. Though crusade is known as a fight for the cause of religion, it is not in the favour of true religion. In the true sense, religion never accepts killing or destroying. A real religion is for the betterment of human society, not for its ruin. Crusade finishes the freedom of following a religion according to one's own will. It destroys the universality of religion. A religion may be considered good as long as it has universality. But crusade puts a religion in a small limitation. It is not only against religion but against humanity also. Crusade can never provide a harmonious and happy life to human beings. Conversion Conversion consists of two parts - (i) Leaving one's own religion and (ii) Accepting another religion. Due to different social, economic and political reasons a man leaves his own religion and accepts another religion. This conversion has two types. i) Conversion by own will ii) Conversion by force Many Hindus have converted themselves to Christians, because they are being helped by Christianity. They have accepted Christianity willingly. Contrary to it, Mugal emperor Aurangjeba forcibly converted Hindus to Islam. He demolished many temples, statues of Gods and Goddesses of Hindu religion. He also killed thousands of Hindus who stood against him. So the conversion by force is a very fearful form of violence in the field of religion, which must be prohibited. So the negative forms of Non-Violence in religion may be constituted by the prohibitions of all above said violences in it. The Positive form of Non-Violence in Religion In the positive form of Non-Violence there is nothing to be prohibited or negated but there are some ideas and activities to be affirmed and accepted. Kindness (Dayā) and Charity (Dāna) have been considered as the main positive forms of non-violence in religion.
