1. Prof. Sagarmal Jain, Director Émeritus, Parshvanath Vidyapeeth, Varanasi, and internationally famed scholar of Jaina Philosophy and religion. He has represented Jainism many times in abrod in Parliament of world Religions etc. He has authored more than 30 books on different aspects of Jaina Philosophy and Religion along with 150 research papres. 30 scholars have obtained their Ph.D. degrees under his supervision.
2.Prof. Sudarshan Lal Jain, Professor, Department of Sanskrit, Banaras Hindu University. A renowned scholar of Jaina Philosophy. He has contributed a lot of the Jaina philosophy by writing some important books and a number of papers. More than 15 scholars have obtained their Ph.D. degrees under his supervision.
3. Dr. Dharm Chand Jain, Reader, Department of Sanskrit, Jodhpur university and a well known scholar of Jaina Philosophy and Religion. He has authored a number of books covering different aspects of Jaina Philosophy. Six scholars have obtained their Ph.D. degrees under his supervision. THE PROCEDURE
• The written essays shall be received by Parshvanath Vidyapeeth up to 3--6-1999. Photocopies of all essays shall be made, a unique number. Being assigned o each essay identifying at the same time the age group.
• The Photocopies (without the author's name) bearing the unique number shall be sent to each of the Judges for marking.
• Upon receipt back of the duly marked essays, the marks compilation shall be done and the winners notified by a letter.
• The winning articles shall be published in first edition of the SHRAMAN in the year 2000.
• The winners shall be facilitated in a function at Parshvanath Vidyapeeth and prize money will be given.
Note - candidate must attach his passport size photograph along with his bio-date with the Essay.
