Journal of the Jain Vishva Bharati
It has been decided to convert the TULSI PRAJÑĀ---the Journal of the Jain Vishva Bhārati—from a quarterly bilingual research journal into a monthly bilingual organ with effect from the current issue, a combined issue for the months of October - November, 1978.
Besides research papers on all subjects of JainologyReligion, Philosophy, History and Arts-cum-science topics--there is provision to incorporate in it the thought-provoking articles on metaphysics, tenets of Jainism, short biographics of the renowned ācāryas, monks and nuns, as also the prominent personalities, present or past, stories, historical events, poems and mini-poems (muktakas). Short accounts of various Jaina instituticns are also welcome for publication.
Contributions should preferably be submitted typed on one side of the sheet. An article should not normally exceed 12 double-spaced typed sheets with wide margins for corrections. Copies of articles should be retained by the authors, as the MSS. are not likely to be returned.
It is essential that no article etc. should cast any aspersion against any sect or religion, so as to hurt their feelings.
Book-review is another feature of this organ, for which two copies of the publication must be sent. Every contributor of research paper only is, on prior request, given gratis 5 off-prints of his paper when published, alongwith a copy of the journal containing his paper. Extra copies may be supplied at cost, if requisition is made in advance.
Back numbers of Anusandhāna Patrikā, Vol. I, Part 1 to 5 and Tulsi Prajñā, Vol. I to III are available at the old rates of subscription, viz. Rs. 22/- a year. Single copy may be had at Rs. 6/-. Copies of issues No. 1 and 2 of Vol. IV are also available at Rs. 8/- per issue.
