Tlence I have to again and again draw the kind attention of those who are blessed with means to come forward and dip their hands deep in their pocket to make this long-felt want a reality and thus remove the reproach that may be attributed to them before God for their apathy and indifference when they had power to lend a hclping hand, and to do full justice to the question under consideration. I once more desire to invite attention of the Jain Public te make substantial and all possible efforts with regard to Housing poor Jains in Bombay on sound lines and with great carnestiess.

अने ते प्रसंगे-ज्ञान दान-केळवणीने उत्तेजन.
વિનપુર એ ગુજરાતમાં સુપ્રસિદ્ધ ગામ છે. તેના શેઠ. મગનલાલ કંકુચંદ તરફથી કારતક વદ ૫ થી વદ ૧૩ સુધી ઉજમણુને મહત્સવ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. તેમજ શાંતિ સ્નાત્ર ભણાવવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ પ્રસંગે ગામને વાવટા તારણ વિગેરેથી સુશોભિત શણુગારવામાં આવ્યું હતું. અમદાવાદથી ખાસ બેન્ડે મંગાવવામાં આવ્યાં હતાં. તેમજ પાલણપુરથી હાથી તેમજ માણસેથી રથ વિગેરે લાવવામાં આવ્યું હતું. વડાની આથી અપૂર્વ શોભા બની હતી. ઉજમણાનાં દર્શન કરવા તેમજ વડે જેવા વિજાપુરનાં આસપાસના ગામનાં ઘણાં માણસો એકત્ર મળ્યાં હતાં. લગભગ બધાં ભળી આશરે આઠેક હજાર આદમીની મેદની મળી હતી, શેઠ શ્રી મગનલાલ તરફથી વદ ૧૧ તથા વદ ૧૨ ના દિવસે બે સ્વામીવાત્સલ્ય જમાડવામાં આવ્યાં હતાં. અમદાવાદ, સુરત, આકેલા, પાલણપુર, મુંબઇ, પાદરા વિગેરે શેડગ્રીના સંબંધી કેટલાક શ્રીમાન શેડીઆ વિગેરેએ હાજરી આપી હતી. અમદા
