ority, wealih and youth. The lion which was killed by Väsudeva-the soul of Vishva-bhūte Muni, created by his resolute determination was the soal of Vishakha-nandi. From the human existence he goes to that of a Tiryancha-a brute and from there he goes to hell ( a ). On account of the Ayu Karma of Narak Gati ( 47% osa ) he was born as a hellish being, suffered the pains incidental to it and on the completion of that existence wandered a number of times in the Sansara. We shall read in detail the account of a cultivator daring our description of the twentyseventh Bhava, who was shown to Shree Gautama Swāmi by Shramaņa Bhagaväna Mahävira with a permission to go and proach him Dharma when Lord Mahāyira was wandering from place to place with Shree Gautama Ganadhara and other Sadhus after his attainment of Perfect Knowledge ($4aştiat ) during his twenty-seventh Bhava. Suffice it to remember, for the present, that the cultivator was the soul of Vishākhanandi. Just considering, how Viskāha-nandi degraded himself by dealing jokes through ignorance on Vishva-bhūti Muni, a nephew of his during Sansari state, out of pride of his authority as a prince and the pride of his youth, we should always be on our guard, that no fresh evil Karmas are acquired on such occasions. પત્ય ઇતિહાસ અને પુરાતત્વના ઊંડા અભ્યાસી શ્રીમાન
