________________ mmer-news -रखतनावतनागृतम:-no -mammeense R भाष्य किया जाये तो (क्रम से कुछ धर्म स्वीकार करने पर) आत्मा है का वर्णन किया जा सकता है, किन्तु एक समय में ही कोई उसके अस्ति-नास्ति आदि स्वभाव का वर्णन करना चाहेगा जब आत्मा । अव्यक्त हो जायेगा । द्रव्याद्यैः स्वगतैः भावोऽभावाः परगतैस्सदा । नित्यः स्थितेरनित्योऽसौ, व्ययोत्पत्तिप्रकारतः ।।१६।। The soul is existent because of its own substance, etc. It can bc called non-existent in as much as it lacks the substance natura, of cthens. is exteriál (7hen one views) its durable substance; non-extemal however, (when viewed purely) from the gain and loss of its modifications (16). हिन्दी अनुवाद : आत्मा विद्यमान है, क्योंकि उसके अपने स्वयं के भाव हैं ।। उसमें दूसरों के स्वाभाविक गुण नहीं हैं, इसलिए उसे अविद्यमान भी है कह सकते हैं । जब आत्मा के नित्य स्थिति को देखा जाता है, तब। आत्मा शाश्वत दिखाई पड़ता है परन्तु उसमें उत्पन्न होने वाली और नष्ट होने वाली पर्यायों को देखें तो आत्मा अनित्य दिखता है ।। आकुञ्चनप्रसाराभ्यामघतेभ्यः तनुप्रमः । समुध्दातैः प्रदेशैः स्यात्स च सर्वगतो मतः ।।१७।। Because of expansion and contraction-which do not however destroy it-the soul is said to be of the same measure as its body.
