नवपदार्थ-मोक्षमार्ग वर्णन टीका-यह, सम्यग्दर्शन-ज्ञान चारित्रकी सूचना है।
काल सहित पंचास्तिकायके भेदरूप नव पदार्थ वे वास्तवमें 'भाव' हैं। उन ‘भावोंका' मिथ्या दर्शनके उदयसे प्राप्त होनेवाला जो अश्रद्धान उसके अभावस्वभाववाला जो भावान्तर ( अन्य भावश्रद्धान ( अर्थात् नव पदार्थोंका श्रद्धान ), व सम्यग्दर्शन है-जो कि ( सम्यग्दर्शन ) शुद्ध चैतन्यरूप आत्मतत्त्वके विनिश्चयका बीज है। नौकागमनके संस्कारकी भाँति मिथ्यादर्शनके उदयके कारण जो स्वरूपविपर्ययपूर्वक अध्यवसित हैं ( भासित होते हैं ) ऐसे उन 'भावोंका' ही ( नव पदार्थोंका ही), मिथ्यादर्शनके उदयकी निवृत्ति होने पर, जो सम्यक् अध्यवसाय ( सत्य समझ, यथार्थ अवभास, सच्चा अवबोध) होना, वह सम्याज्ञान है-जो कि कुछ अंशोंमें ज्ञानचेतनाप्रधान आत्मतत्त्वकी उपलब्धिका ( अनुभूतिका ) बीज है । सम्यग्दर्शन और सम्यज्ञानके सद्भावके कारण समस्त अमार्गोसे छूटकर जो स्वतत्त्वमें विशेष रूपसे आरूढ मार्गवाले हुए हैं उन्हें इन्द्रिय और मनके विषयभूत पदार्थोंके प्रति रागद्वेषपूर्वक विकारके अभावके कारण जो निर्विकारज्ञान स्वभाव वाला समभाव होता है, वह चारित्र है जो कि उस कालमें और आगामी कालमें रमणीय है और अपुनर्भवके ( मोक्षके ) महा सौख्यका एक बीज हैं।
ऐसे इस विलक्षण ( सम्यग्दर्शन-ज्ञान-चारित्रात्मक ) मोक्षमार्गका आगे निश्चय और व्यवहारसे व्याख्यान किया जायेगा। यहाँ तो सम्यग्दर्शन और सम्यग्ज्ञानके विषयभूत नव पदार्थोके उपोद्घातके हेतरूपसे ( भूमिका रूपसे ) उसकी सूचना दी गई है ।।१०७॥
सं० ता०-अथ सम्यग्दर्शनज्ञानचारित्रत्रयस्य विशेषविवरणं करोति,---
सम्यक्त्वं भवति । किं कर्तृ । सद्दहणं---मिथ्यात्वोदयजनितविपरीताभिनिवेशरहितं श्रद्धानं । केषां संबन्धि । भावाणं-पंचास्तिकायषद्रव्यविकल्परूपं जीवाजीवद्वयं जीवपुद्गलसंयोगपरिणामोत्पन्नस्रवादिपदार्थसप्तकं चेत्युक्तलक्षणानां भावानां जीवादिनवपदार्थानां । इदं तु नवपदार्थविषयभूतं व्यवहारसम्यक्त्वं । किंविशिष्टं । शुद्धजीवास्तिकायरुचिरूपस्य निश्चयसम्यक्त्वस्य छद्मस्थावस्थायां साधकत्वेन बीजभूतं तदेव निश्चयसम्यक्त्वं क्षायिकसम्यक्त्वबीजभूतं । तेसिम्-तेषाम् तवपदार्थानामधिगमो नौयानसंस्काररूपविपरीतात् अनभिनिवेषगतिरधिगमःसंशयादिरहिताऽवबोध: । णाणं-सम्यग्ज्ञानं इदं तु नव पदार्थविषयव्यवहारज्ञानं छद्मस्थावस्थायाम् आत्मविषयसंवेदनज्ञानस्य परंपरया बीजं, तदपि स्वसंवेदनज्ञानं केवलज्ञानबीजं भवति । चारित्तं-चारित्रं भवति । स कः । समभावोसमभाव: । केषु । विषयेषु इन्द्रियमनोगतसुखदुःखोत्पत्तिरूपशुभाशुभविषयेषु । केषां भवति । विरूढमग्गाणं-पूर्वोक्तसम्यक्त्वज्ञानबलेन समस्तान्यमार्गेभ्यः प्रच्युत्य विशेषेण रूढमार्गाणां विरूढमार्गाणां परिज्ञातमोक्षमार्गाणां । इदं तु व्यवहारचारित्रं बहिरंगसाधकत्वोन वीतरागचारित्रभावनोत्पत्रपरमात्मतृप्तिरूपस्य निश्चयसुखस्य बीजं तदपि निश्चयसुखं पुनरक्षयानंतसुखस्य बीजमिति । अत्र यद्यपि साध्यसाधकमावज्ञापनार्थं निश्चयव्यवहारद्वयं व्याख्यातं तथापि

It pertains to the 'states', which are the six categories of existence, the two categories of living and non-living beings, the seven substances that arise from the combination of soul and matter, and the nine substances including the soul. This is the right faith that pertains to the nine substances. What is its special characteristic? It is the seed of the certainty of the true nature of the soul, which is the pure consciousness of the soul, and it is the seed of the right faith that destroys the false faith.

The understanding of these nine substances is the understanding that is free from the opposite attachment that is like the construction of a boat. It is the understanding that is free from doubt.
