1. 25 frag-The narrative of Nemi, the twenty-second fact of the Jainas, contains an important episode, viz., the fight of gut and Tree According to the TALENT the fight of u and is regarded as the most important feature of the life of कृष्ण, while जरासन्ध is killed by भीम। कृष्ण is mentioned as having run away from the battlefield and founded GI in order to escape the attacks by RIHET I In MP the word FI appears in thrce different forms, जरासन्ध, जरासिन्ध and जरसेन्ध । of these the first two are promiscuously used in my text and the third almost ignored as there is no consistency in Mss.

The poet states, as in MP I, that he does not possess necessary qualifications to undertake the composition of हरिवंश। 15 देसिलेसु, fragmentary or elementary knowledge of देशी words or lexicons. 6. a सुवंतु तिवतु (सुबन्त, तिङन्त) noun inflexion and verbal inflexion. 11-12 The poet feels confident that his fame as poet wil place her feet on the necks of the wicked and wander heyond the three worlds.
3. सीहरि णराहिउ अरुहदासु-It will be better if the reader remembers that the poct is giving here the narrative of the previous births of 314, not in their chronological order but in the order of strikinguess. These previous births chronologically are:-ATA, C, Erta, forma, retarica, 31931, ata सुप्रतिष्ठ and जयन्तदेव। The poet starts with the life of अपराजित here. He then takes up the story of fans and his two brothers. Then he proceeds to sfratat proper to give the parentage of 7
