१६४. प्रश्न : महानदियाँ किस-किस क्षेत्र में और किस-किस
दिशा में बहती हैं ? उत्तर : भरत क्षेत्र में गंगा-सिन्धु, हैमवत क्षेत्र में रोहित्-रोहितास्या, हरि क्षेत्र में हरित-हरिकान्ता, विदेह क्षेत्र में सीता-सीतोदा, रम्यक क्षेत्र में नारी-नरकान्ता, हैरण्यवत् क्षेत्र में सुवर्णकूला-रूप्यकूला एवं ऐरावत क्षेत्र में रक्ता-रक्तोदा नदियाँ बहती हैं।
