पारिषद् जाति के देव रहते हैं। इन देवियों की आयु एक पल्य प्रमाण होती है। ये देवियाँ भवनवासिनी हैं। प्रारम्भ की तीन देवियाँ. सौधर्मेन्द्र की और अन्त की तीन देवियाँ ऐशानेन्द्र की आज्ञाकारिणी होती हैं। ये देवियाँ गर्भावस्था में तीर्थंकर की माता की सेवा में तत्पर रहती हैं।
सरोवर एवं कमल आदिक का विस्तार विदेह क्षेत्र तक दूना-दूना होता गया है और आगे पुनः आधा-आथा होता गया है। १६३. प्रश्न : उपयुक्त सरोवरों से कौन-कौन सी महानदियाँ
निकली हैं ? उत्तर : पद्म सरोवर के पूर्व तोरण-द्वार से गंगा, पश्चिम तोरण-द्वार से सिन्धु एवं उत्तर तोरण-द्वारा से रोहितास्या, महापद्म के दक्षिण तोरण-द्वार से रोहित और उत्तर- तोरण-द्वार से हरिकान्ता, तिगिञ्छ के दक्षिण तोरण-द्वार से हरित् एवं उत्तर . तोरण-द्वार से सीतोदा, केसरिन के दक्षिण तोरण-द्वार से सीता और उत्तर तोरण-द्वार से नरकान्ता, महापुण्डरीक के दक्षिण तोरण-द्वार से नारी एवं उत्तर तोरण-द्वार से रूप्यकूला और पुण्डरीक हुद के दक्षिण तोरण-द्वार से सुवर्णकूला, पूर्व तोरण-द्वार से रक्ता एवं पश्चिम तोरण-द्वार से रक्तोदा नदी निकलती है।
