Answer: The unaltering perception of the general aspect of a substance, without perceiving its specific aspects, is called Darshan. Some Acharyas consider the general aspect to be the soul, therefore, according to them, soul-perception is called Darshan. 186. Question: How many types of Darshan Margana are there? Answer: There are four types of Darshan Margana: (1) Chakshudarshan, (2) Achakshudarshan, (3) Avadhi Darshan, and (4) Keval Darshan. 160. Question: What is Chakshudarshan?
