सप्ततिका प्रकरण
प्रत्याख्यानावरण चतुष्क (क्रोध, मान, माया, लोभ) का बंध देहाविरत गुणस्थान तक होता था, उनका प्रमत्तविरत गुणस्थान में बंध नहीं होता है। अत: जिन ५३ प्रकृतियों को देशविरत गुणस्थान में बंधने के अयोग्य बतलाया है, उनमें इन चार प्रकृतियों के और मिला देने पर प्रमत्तविरत गुणस्थान में ५७ प्रकृतियों बंध के अयोग्य होती हैं-'विरओ सगवण्णसेसाओ।' इसलिये प्रमत्तविरत गुणस्थान में ६३ प्रकृतियों का बंध होता है ।
अब आगे की गाथा में सातवें और आठवें गणस्थान में बंध प्रकतियों की संख्या का निर्देश करते हैं।
इगुसदिठमप्पमसो बंधइ देवाज्यस्स इयरो वि । अट्ठावण्णमपुरखो छप्पण्णं वा चि छवीसं ॥५॥
शावार्थ-इगुष्टि--उनसठ प्रकृतियों के, अप्पमतो-अप्रमत्त. संपत, धर-बंष करता है, वाउयस्स-देवायु का बंधक, इसरोत्रि - अप्रमल भी, अट्ठाषण -- अट्ठावन, अपुग्धो-- अपूर्वकरण गुणस्थान घाला, छप्पण्णं-- अप्पन, का वि--- अयवा भी, अय्वीसं-~~छत्रीस ।
गाथार्ष-अप्रमत्तसंयत गुणस्थानवर्ती जीव उनसठ प्रकृतियों का बंध करता है। यह देवायु का भी बंध करता है। अपूर्वकरण गुणस्थान वाला अट्ठावन, छप्पन अथवा छब्बीस प्रकृतियों का बंध करता है। विशेषार्थ- इस गाथा में सातवें अप्रमत्तसंयत और आठवें अपूर्वकरण गुणस्थान में बंधयोग्य प्रकृतियों की संख्या का निर्देश किया है। लेकिन यहां कथन शैली की यह विशेषता है कि पिछली गाथाओं में तो किस गुणस्थान में कितनी प्रकृतियों का बंध नहीं होता है-इसको मुख्य मानकर बंध प्रकृतियां बतलाई थीं किन्तु इस गाथा से उस क्रम को बदल कर यह बतलाया है कि किस गुणस्थान में कितनी प्रकृतियों
